Rose cake with jam
Ingredients
500 g of flour 350 W
80 g granulated sugar
125 g butter
4 g brewer’s yeast
8 g salt
15 g honey
2 eggs
175 g milk
Peel of 1 lemon
1 jar jam (about 110gr)
Procedure
To prepare our rose cake with jam we start by taking a large bowl and sift the flour, add the baking powder, sugar, honey, eggs and start mixing.
We continue adding the milk a little at a time, when the dough is well crossed we add the salt, the butter and the grated rind of a lemon.
We mix well and let it rise at 25 ° for about 1 hour. Let’s pick up the dough and put it in the refrigerator to rest for about 12 hours. Once removed from the refrigerator, leave it for about two hours at room temperature. After this time let’s roll it out and make it with jam .
We then obtain 5 strips of equal width and wrap them thus obtaining rolls. Put them in a pan with a diameter of 24 cm and let them rise until doubled, then bake them at 170 ° and let them cook until we obtain the desired browning among the roses.
