Chicken cacciatore
Ingredients
- 4 slices of chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1/4 cup of water

Procedure

- 4 slices of chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped

- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.
- In pot, add onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft.
- Add tomato sauce, white wine, water, oregano, salt and black pepper. Stir well.
- Add the chicken and black olives to the pot. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked and the sauce is well thickened.
- Serve hot with warm bread for dipping in the delicious sauce.
